Vancouver Summer School programs are offered on the campus of the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada's second best university. Founded in 1908, UBC is also the 40th best university in the world. UBC is located 45 minutes from the center of Vancouver, in a large area adjacent to the regional park with beautiful gardens, a few minutes from the Pacific Ocean. Students studying at the St Giles Vancouver Summer School spend the best of their time with a variety of activities while staying at the campus dormitories of British Columbia University.

There is a general English course of 15 hours per week. One lesson is 50 minutes. Classes can up to 12 people. Students take the placement test on the first day and are assigned to the appropriate classes. At the end of the course, participation certificate is given.
